Device Conditions

What do the grades mean?

At Gemini Computing, we have a clear grading system for the devices we sell. This gives our customers a clear indication of what to expect, as all of the devices are in full working order (unless stated otherwise). we sell devices in the following conditions:

  • A+ (Pristine condition)

  • A (Excellent condition)

  • B (Good condition)

  • C (Fair condition)

This can also be split into grade A+ for Pristine, grade A for Excellent, grade B for Good condition and grade C for Fair. All our devices work as they should (unless stated otherwise), but the visual aspect will vary.

A+ (Pristine)

Pristine condition device is the closest you can get to a new phone with without paying the price! This product is in a Pristine cosmetic condition and shows no to minimal signs of use. Pristine grade devices are 100% working devices.

A (Excellent)

An excellent condition device may have some minor signs of use on the screen and may have light scuffs or scratches on the casing. You'll hardly be able to tell if it's been used or refurbished! Excellent grade devices are 100% working devices.

B (Good)

Good condition devices may have moderate signs of use on the screen and slight scuffs or scratches on the casings, but this is usually something that can be hidden by a phone case. Good grade devices are 100% working devices unless stated on the listing.

C (Fair)

A fair condition device will show heavy signs of wear and tear. These may or may not be hidden by a phone case. Fair grade devices are 100% working devices unless stated on the listing.

As the conditions improve, the price for the device will also increase. So, if you have a tighter budget and aren't fussed about scuffs on the device then opt for good or fair conditions. If you want a devices in the best possible condition, you'll want to go for excellent or pristine conditions.

Please note: where applicable batteries will have a minimum of 80% battery health (this is not factored into our grading system).
